Hospital Admission - Frequently Asked Questions

The admission process includes: 1) Doctor consultation and admission recommendation, 2) Visit our admission counter with ID proof and doctor's referral, 3) Complete registration form, 4) Deposit advance payment or submit insurance documents for cashless, 5) Room allocation based on availability and preference, 6) Patient wristband and orientation by nursing staff.

Visiting hours at Gangamai Hospital are: Morning: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Evening: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Only 2 visitors are allowed per patient at a time. ICU and critical care units have restricted visiting with special permissions. One attendant can stay 24/7 with the patient.

Please bring: 1) Valid ID proof (Aadhar/PAN), 2) All previous medical records and prescriptions, 3) Current medications, 4) Health insurance card if applicable, 5) Personal toiletries and comfortable clothing, 6) Mobile charger, 7) Deposit amount (cash/card/UPI). Avoid bringing valuables and jewelry.

After discharge is approved by your doctor: 1) Nursing staff will prepare discharge summary, 2) Visit billing counter to clear final bills, 3) Collect discharge summary, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions, 4) For insurance patients, wait for final approval from TPA. Discharge process typically takes 2-4 hours after doctor approval.
